Boxer Rescue Victoria is only in existence due to the hard work and dedication of one person, Nikki Richards
Nikki is dedicated to ensuring better lives for many boxers who are often in terrible environments and require medical attention and rehabilitation. Opening her home to these beautiful dogs, Nikki is the head of rescue, responsible for finding, rescuing, providing medical support and training of all rescue Boxers..
Nikki has a small small support team who provide help with fundraising, fostering and transportation, social media and the management of our website.
Boxer Rescue Victoria focuses on Victorian Boxers, but also rescues dogs in other states.
The process of getting Boxers in need into rescue is not always easy. BRV spends many hours (sometimes weeks) negotiating to get dogs out of bad situations, then arranging transportation etc.
It can sometimes takes months before rescued dogs become available for adoption. That's because BRV:
Thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours are invested in the boxers that pass through BRV's hands. And this is all is done to improve the chances that these dogs will have a future that is much better than their past.
